Congratulations to the Upper Sixth Psychology students who completed a five-week Advanced Statistics in Psychology course.
The course, which took place after college for at least an hour each week, involves calculating statistical tests which are typically used in psychological research.
By completing all five weeks, the students have demonstrated their commitment to ensuring they have sound research methods ready for their undergraduate studies in Psychology.
The course was designed within the Holy Cross Psychology department in response to feedback from our previous students who continued with Psychology at University.
Karen Pickering, Teacher of Psychology at Holy Cross College, said: “Former students regularly told us they were finding the research methods part of their Psychology degree the most challenging.
“We hope this course has provided our students with the confidence and ability to apply their skills when they do move on from Holy Cross, and we congratulate them for their commitment and achievements.”
