Faith Ambassadors

Holy Cross is a welcoming and inclusive college, and we take pride in the diversity of our community. Our Student Faith Ambassador Programme allows students to represent some of the different religious faiths in our college. They are committed to promoting understanding of people of faith with the aim of creating greater acceptance, respect and peace in society. They embody our college values of faith, humility, vision, compassion, joy, service and daring and the programme allows opportunities for staff and students to learn more about being a person of faith.

The Faith Ambassador programme is organised through the Chaplaincy and students may take part in the following activities:

· Q&A sessions with staff and students in college during our annual One World Week

· The Bury Interfaith Forum annual school conference at Our Lady of Good Counsel and Guardian Angels’ Parish Church, Bury

· Visits to local primary schools to lead workshops with Y5 pupils

· Q&A sessions with the public at Collabor8, the annual Greater Manchester Police community event, Bury
