Daughter of the Cross and former Holy Cross Governor, Sister Margaret, passes away

It is with great sadness that we let you know that Sister Margaret – one of the Daughters of the Cross, the founders of Holy Cross College – has sadly passed away.

Margaret was 92 and would have celebrated 75 years as a Daughter of the Cross this year. Margaret enjoyed her long years of devoted service as a Holy Cross College Governor, and she will be greatly missed.

Her Requiem Mass will be on Tuesday 1st April at 11am in the Marie Therese Convent Chapel, Haslemere. The service can be followed on the Chapel’s YouTube channel

A group from St. Philomena’s, where Margaret taught and was Headteacher, will lead the singing at the Mass.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sister Margaret’s family and friends at this time.
